the figure is made of a semicircle and a square find the perimeter so here's our figure will you see the bottom is the square and the top is a semicircle and since this bottom is the square we can label the last two also as 5 meters so then the inside will b5m is well  this is helpful because this 5 meters is also the diameter of our semicircle  so now we have the three sides of our figure  and we just need the circumference of the semicircle to finish our perimeter go to find the circumference of a semicircle first start out by using the formula for the circumference of a circle which is C is equal to Pi times the diameter and since this is a semicircle it is half of a circle so we'll be dividing two  so now to find circumference of a semicircle we will use 3 + 14 what's 4 pi  multiply that by the diameter which is 5 and then divided by so if 3 + 1400 * 5 is equal to 15 in 7/10 family / 2 15 + 7/10 / 2 7 + 8500  now we can label the semicircle as having a length of 7 in 80 500 meters  now we have all sides of our figure we can find the perimeter by adding them  so the where is equal to 5 + 5  what's 5  play 7 + 8500 this is equal to 22 + 8500  don't forget to add your units which is meters  so the perimeter of our figure it's 22 80/500 meters
