Meet Ms. Sellers
All about Me!
Hello, my name is Brianna Sellers, and I am excited to share a little about myself with you. Originally from the Bronx, NY, I moved to Connecticut three years ago, bringing with me a lifelong passion for education. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher, often playing "teacher and students" with my friends—a game that foreshadowed my future career. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY, where I discovered my true calling: supporting students with special needs. Teaching is my greatest joy, and I am deeply committed to making a positive impact in the lives of my students.
My Core Values!
As a dedicated special education teacher entering my eighth year in the field, I am passionate about empowering students with special needs to reach their full potential. I believe that every student is capable of achieving great things, and I set high standards to ensure they rise to the challenge. My approach to teaching is rooted in the belief that learning should be both fun and engaging. By creating a dynamic and supportive classroom environment, I inspire my students to explore, take risks, and discover their own unique paths to success. With a blend of creativity, patience, and enthusiasm, I am committed to making each learning experience meaningful and enjoyable, helping my students build confidence and a lifelong love for learning.
