Physical Education
Hello, and welcome to Physical Education at Park City Prep. I’m excited to teach Physical Education at your school this year. I hope everyone had a fun and restful summer break. This is my first year at Park City Prep and am looking forward to this new opportunity to help you learn how to be healthy and become more fit.
I have been teaching Physical Education for almost 20 years at other schools. My favorite sports and recreational activities are, soccer, basketball, swimming, archery, hunting, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, snowboarding, spending time with my family, camping, motorsports, fixing cars and landscaping. I’m looking forward to seeing what your favorite sports and activities are and learning more about those and the ones you may not have experienced yet.
My door is always open to you and your parents. Please let me know if there are any concerns or questions you or your parents may have at have anytime. In addition, if you have any injuries, medical conditions or concerns that may negatively effect your performance, please contact me so we can best accommodate you. It is my goal to meet the needs of each individual student and create an environment where they all can improve.

Attitude – demonstrate willingness to try new things and a willingness to engage with others.
Effort- Despite your ability level you are trying your best and working towards improving.
Participation-engage in lesson throughout the entire class period.
You will earn 1 point for each. The highest grade being a 4.
General PE lesson structure.
The following should be what you come to expect each time you come to the gym.
Arrive and prepare for class, sneakers, coats, etc. (5 min)
Warm up (10-15 min)
Lesson focus (15-20 min)
Cool down and clean up (5 min)
