 Founder & Executive Director

Bruce Ravage is the founder and architect of Park City Prep Charter School and serves as its Executive Director. As the former Director of The Math/Science Institute at Stuyvesant High School in New York City, Bruce designed and supervised a city-wide, middle school program to prepare students from under-performing districts for admission to New York City's highly competitive and selective, specialized science high schools - Stuyvesant High School, The Bronx High School of Science and Brooklyn Technical High School, schools historically under-represented by students from those communities.

As an experienced charter school director, he has developed successful science, math and literacy programs that have received notable acclaim, as well. Mr. Ravage is a former New York City district level science coordinator and has worked for many years in programs designed to provide greater educational opportunities for inner city students. After graduating from New York University, Bruce earned graduate degrees in both education and administration. Bruce, who was born and raised in Bridgeport, attended its public schools and graduated from Bassick High School in 1964.
